Independently owned and operated since 1988, Morning Glory Family Day Care Centre is monitored by the Richmond Health Department Child Care Licensing Officer. Regulations are adhered to under the Community Care and Assisted Living Act ~ Child Care Licensing Regulations specifically covering:
• health and safety standards
• space and equipment
• child/staff ratios
• staff qualifications
The center is bright, airy and cheery and is a "home away from home". The center, toys, and equipment is cleaned and well maintained at all times. Art supplies, puzzles, games and other materials are easily accessible for the children. The children know that the day care centre is theirs to explore and to experience.
The garden is one of beauty; it offers many enchanted and magical places for play. There is a playhouse, a sandbox, climbing equipment and a large patio for the children to ride bikes.
To keep the children safe the yard is fully enclosed by a high fence, is a pet and smoke free environment as well as a "war toy free zone".
