Staffing
Karen Walden is a Certified Early Childhood Educator and has attained both her Post Basic Special Needs and Infants/Toddler Certifications. In addition she is a member in good standing with the Richmond Child Care Resource and Referral Centre, Western Canada Family Child Care Association of BC, Early Childhood Educators of British Columbia and the Canadian National Child Care Federation.
Karen has also held varying positions on the Richmond Society of Family Child Care Board of Directors. She has maintained positions on the Early Childhood Educators of Richmond/Delta Branch, City of Richmond Child Care Development Board and on the James Gilmore Elementary Parent Advisory Council, most notably as the former President.
Each year Karen attends a variety of educational workshops and an annual conference to ensure she is kept up to date on current early childhood topics.
