I am very proud to say that I brought Karen, not one, but two children (6 months and 9 yrs of age) AND, in addition, we were also the very first customers when she opened her new daycare on Alanmore back in the fall of 1988!!
As all mother's experience, it is very hard to leave your children with someone else when you first go back to work but I knew Karen was going to give my kids the best care possible and over the years I found this to be true.
When I would have the opportunity to watch Karen interact with the daycare children, it always amazed me how she handled each situation. She had such wonderful and suprising ideas so I would go home, have some situation occur and think "how would Karen deal with this" but unfortunately I think it's a gift that Karen had (and I didn't).
